How to apply it properly.
Most grip complaints are application problems, not product problems. Liquid chalk works differently to powder — here is the routine that gets the most out of a bottle.
Start with clean, dry hands
Wash off any moisturiser or old grip aid and dry thoroughly. Chalk bonds to skin, not to whatever is sitting on top of it.
Use a coin-sized amount
Shake the bottle, dispense a 10-cent-piece amount into one palm, and rub evenly over palms and fingers — right up to the fingertips, where grip actually fails.
Let it dry for 15–30 seconds
Keep your hands open and moving while the base evaporates. When your palms turn matte, the magnesium and rosin layer is set and ready to load.
Reapply as you feel it wear
One application holds through a full combo or heavy set. When grip starts fading, reapply — the bottle is clipped to your rig or pole, so it takes ten seconds.

How long does liquid chalk last?
A single application holds through a full combo or a heavy set — reapply as you feel it wear, the same way you would rechalk at a comp. A bottle lasts most people one to two months of regular training.
Does liquid chalk wash off?
Yes — it washes off skin with soap and water and leaves no stubborn residue on your pole, lyra or barbell. Wipe your apparatus down as normal after training.
Will it work for aerial silks?
Honestly: chalk is a drying agent, and on fabric most aerialists want the opposite — moisture and tack. It is excellent on metal (pole, lyra, trapeze bars) and for grip on straps and handstand work. We would rather tell you that than sell you the wrong bottle.
Is it scented?
Lightly — a subtle sweet scent that fades as it dries. It will not compete with a studio full of Dry Hands.
