Veronica is a Melbourne-based performer working across pole dance, aerial arts and contortion — known for fluidity, creative expression and a signature blend of sultry, sensual and quirky performance. Over a decade in, she has built a reputation for pushing boundaries rather than repeating the vocabulary everyone else is using.

She is a core performer with the Melbourne company The Sway, and has been for a decade — touring America, Japan, China, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkey and South Korea. She has toured nationally with the renowned Ashton family in the acclaimed show Infamous, and travelled to Japan twice with the underground Sadistic Circus, performing solo and duo aerial acts. Her work has appeared at fringe festivals across Australia — Adelaide, Perth, Townsville and Darwin — and at Edinburgh Fringe.

The chalk came from necessity. A self-described “sweaty betty,” she spent years wiping her hands mid-routine and working through every grip product on the market. When nothing held the way she needed, she blended her own — magnesium and rosin, fast-drying, in a bottle that clips where she trains. Cirque Essentials is that bottle, made in Melbourne and now in kit bags around Australia.

Off stage, she teaches contortion, flexibility, aerial and pole — group workshops in Melbourne and Brunswick, private coaching in person and over Zoom to students in every state — and runs Paradise Aerials, hiring out the freestanding rig and X-Stage you will find on the hire page.
