Veronica
Waite.
Twelve-plus years on stage. Eighteen years teaching. One very sweaty pair of hands — and the liquid chalk they led to.
Veronica is a Melbourne-based performer working across pole dance, aerial arts and contortion — known for fluidity, creative expression and a signature blend of sultry, sensual and quirky performance. She has performed and competed across Australia and internationally, and has been teaching movement for eighteen years.
The chalk came from necessity. A self-described “sweaty betty,” she spent years wiping her hands mid-routine and working through every grip product on the market. When nothing held the way she needed, she blended her own — magnesium and rosin, fast-drying, in a bottle that clips where she trains. Cirque Essentials is that bottle, made in Melbourne and now in kit bags around Australia.
Off stage, she teaches contortion, flexibility, aerial and pole — group workshops in Melbourne and Brunswick, private coaching in person and over Zoom to students in every state — and runs Paradise Aerials, hiring out the freestanding rig and X-Stage you will find on the hire page.
Everything on this site is something she uses, teaches or performs with herself. That is the filter.
